Location and Transfers
The closest airport to our resort is Busuanga (Coron), easily reachable from Manila with a 45 minute flight and from other key locations across the Philippines. There are also ferry and boat options for guests that require this. Please contact us so that we can assist with your inquiries on this matter.
In order to make sure that your travel is as smooth as possible, it is important for us to have your exact arrival and departure times.
Diving
As a PADI 5 Star Resort with an extensive history of providing superb quality scuba diving courses spanning the full range from beginner to professional level diving education, and fun dives and ongoing education for our valued certified divers, we proudly stand ready, and eagerly aligned with the future of the diving industry, whilst remaining true to our roots and out guest’s safety and satisfaction.
Our strategic location in the heart of Coron Bay, allows us unrivalled access to the famous World War 2 Japanese ship wrecks, all within 5-20 minutes from the resort by our state of the art speedboats.
We offer diving, uniquely accommodated to our guest’s needs and a fully functional and adaptable schedule allowing early morning, mid-morning, afternoon and night dives. We aim to go the ‘extra mile’ to ensure your comfort and safety in all that we do.

Environmental Awareness
Running a Resort isn’t easy for anyone – especially the environment. We work to minimize the environmental impact of everything that we do at Chindonan.
We are fortunate to have an on-site spring, meaning that we are fully self-sufficient for all fresh water needs on the island, including drinking water, water for showers and for everything else that requires water usage.
However, we all play a role in acting responsibly with our water, and decreasing the stress and demand that is associated with it’s use.
Therefore, we do not offer hot water in the Resort, to reduce stress on our water resources. Generating hot water for showers demands a substantial amount of water and energy from the environment that we simply cannot repay.
That said, there is frequently very hot water available as the water pipes heat up during the mid-morning from the strong sun.
Likewise, being remotely located, our access to power supplies is limited as there are no power lines. We manage the distribution of power using a combination of generators and solar panels.
Our generators currently provide power to accommodation facilities from late afternoon to early morning in all areas and then again between 12pm and 2pm. There is electrical power available 24/7 in the restaurant via solar panels.
Our aim is to provide resort-wide solar energy between 2021-2022.
Wifi is also available 24/7 in our restaurant. We do not currently provide Wifi in any other areas of the resort, although a strong LTE connection is available on mobile phones if you opt to use cellular data.
