PADI Rescue Diver Course

Often cited as the most challenging and rewarding of all PADI recreational scuba courses, the Rescue Diver course starts to develop your focus on other divers and slightly away from ‘self’. During the Rescue Diver course, you will learn about responding to diver stress, anxiety and panic. You will also develop your rescue skills via in-water rescue techniques & administering rescue breathes and conducting CPR. This course is a pre-requisite for those looking to become Divemasters.

Rescue Sessions at House Reef
All Rescue exercises will be professionally conducted and overseen in the safety and convenience of the Chindonan House Reef, where you will fine-tune appropriately recognising and responding to tired, panicked and simulated unconscious divers at and below the surface, administering in-water rescue breathing and simulated CPR, all under the guidance of your PADI Instructor.

With this system, all academic portions of the course, including reading, quizzes and knowledge reviews can be completed in your own time, here at the resort, or before your even leave home.
Pre-requisites
- 15 years of age with PADI Advanced Open Water certification, or equivalent. Have completed a sanctioned course in CPR. This can also be included here at Chindonan Dive Resort as part of the overall Rescue Diver course.
- 12-14 years of age to obtain Junior Rescue Diver.
